Production

last week we had our production Ūkaipo! Each class had a act or dance .Ūkaipo is about a boy Moehuri coming home, he lives in Sidney but his Whanu is in New Zealand like his cousin Ricky, Nan, The mad Butcher ( his Uncle ) . When he get to New Zealand he is greeted  by his uncle and he takes him to Oruaiti where he meets Ricky, Nan, Boy and Billy T then Ricky takes him in side to watch TV were he learns about NZ things, kiwiana: Buzzy bees, Whalers, gum boots, weet-bix, Boy and Foot trot flat and the news and a beached act. Alyla was a dog I was one and Indica was one too. My class did Foot trot flats, we were dogs and farmers dancing to Slice of heaven, in parts of the song the dogs would do an answer back, it was hilarious
