This term we’re reading as much as we can (well at least two groups are )  if  a group gets to 80 books them the group gets to have free time there’s  lots of  other stuff we can have if we get 30 40 50 60 and 70. Our teacher has set it out so that each table group  is a team,  my group table is called: I DUNNO because we didn’t know what to call our self’s.

The hard thing is that some fast readers ( which include me and Eelia ) can’t read books that have pitchers in them, because we  would read a book a day,I was reading  the 13 story tree house  series but my teacher said it was too easy for me I was so frustrating.

This week on Wednesday there was a half day. we went home at 12:30, we had to try to get a lot of work done at school if we wanted  no home work. We had to finish our spelling menu, Reports, two SRAs, two quality blog posts and math sheets. Reports-check

math sheet-check,  blog post-check I’m almost finished the spelling menu but I haven’t started the SRAs yet.

We also have a strike on Friday so I better start working!!!

This is Popcorn the golden axolotl Nikau classes ( my class ) new pet, Popcorn’s a female and she eats axolotl pearls called novo lotl. She sucks them up then spits them out, apparently that’s how axolotls eat.  To get her we had to write persuasive letters to our principal Mrs Bates and she said we can have as long as we pay for one. She was sixty dollars, we got her from Keri Keri pet shop

To day in class we did free writing, we only do this on Fridays so its called: Free writing Friday

That’s why  I enjoy Fridays so much. I hate it when we to write about one pacific thing like reports or facts! 

I LOVE writing narratives.

I’m also entering a narrative for a writing composition which is judged by  New Zealand authors.

It’s hard because you can only have 500 to 600 words : (

things like, favourite animals and things that you like.

To day my class went to lake Manuwai for a fun day, we went paddle boarding, sailing and boat safety

the first thing my group did was paddle boarding me and my friend Anik were the only ones that didn’t fall off Xavier fell off 12 times!!!

We had the grace of a cat and the boys had the grace of a… well Blob fish 🤣🤣🤣
